Art Deco 'blook'. Book pattern pencil holder. Circa 1920.Continental silver metal and silver gilt novelty in the shape of a book (or 'blook'). Silver stripes engraved with vertical parallel lines. Loop to the side. 25 x 40 mm. Four marks struck above loop that are indecipherable possibly French manufacture around 1920. Original silver metal pencil. The word 'mtal' on the side of the pencil. Minuscule dents to ball finial of pencil. Scattered surface scratches. 8mm diagonal slight dent to one side.
