Unfortunately this base is rarely seen now as cheaper wools and synthetic blends have filled the market. It is from a by gone era when Australian merino wool was highly sort after. Worsted wool is incredibly fine it is smooth, light, fluid and sophisticated (there is no fuzzy woollen hair or bulk created). The
