The band has scalloped edging with a leaf design. Producing pieces of jewellery in 15ct was a British standard used in the Commonwealth it was discontinued in 1932 in Britain. Pieces of jewellery in 15ct are quite rare to find. The band is slightly thinner on the bottom compared to the top, this is due to normal antique wear.
